Barry... my friend Claire’s lovely dad 🤍 He was always so laid back, gently spoken and kind.  Nothing ever seemed too much trouble.  I remember when Claire bought her first home he collected and delivered a curry to us all on her birthday, of course he wasn’t allowed to stay. Then when Claire moved back in with Barry & Lesley she’d decorated her room wanted some photos put up, which became a running joke every time I visited because it just wasn’t happening and never did. In hindsight it was just good parenting because Claire now hangs her own photos. But there is one thing Barry was never without... THAT CAMERA, always snapping away.  He must have captured so many amazing moments that everyone can look back on and treasure. 
These memories might not be the most exciting, but they are memories from a friend watching a loving Dad and Grandad. I’m really going to miss seeing you Barry and witnessing those little things. I’ll be thinking of you always... rest in peace, Catherine x
