Barry is one of the best people I ever knew and certainly the best engineer I ever knew. We were apprentices together and were friends way back in the 70s and 80s. We made text contact again in 2014 but due to a serious family health issue, I am sad to say we didn't get to meet again. I was very saddened to see the news on FaceBook. Barry, thank you for making our apprenticeship so much fun and especially for making my college time at Brixton College something to look forward to, and thank you for all your help. I will raise a glass or two in your name!
